About CSA e-learning pilot

Throughout 2011, CSA and Editure have worked together to set up a structured e-learning pilot with the aim of setting up an online place for CSA schools to share, collaborate and connect with each other.

As at June 2011, 8 schools have joined and schools have until the 22nd July 2011 to participate throughout terms 3 & 4.  Schools that have joined in have benefited from being involved in a program of structured professional development training and have found new ways of connecting with their (internet savvy) students.

Criteria to become involved:

  • Your school wants to formalise and accelerate the development of your e-learning program/s
  • Your school wants to be able to share resources and create connections with other CSA schools
  • Your schools can assign a minimum of three teachers to use myPLS as a teaching tool in terms 3 and 4 (in 2011)
  • Your school wants an e-learning solution that is simple to run and will not create an extra burden on your IT staff.

Cost

The cost to become involved in $1000 (plus GST) which includes teacher professional development sessions, technical support and creation of your school’s online portal.
